Creating a Custom Editor for Everything

Keith Wells (IBM)
XForms evening Wellesley

When working with any new technology, a lack of tools is a common hurdle early adopters must get past. In this short session, we’ll demonstrate how to use XForms to create a custom editor for an XML vocabulary.

We’ll use Service Component Architecture (SCA) as an example. SCA lets you create applications that are easy to build, deploy, change and maintain.

The key to this magic is a set of XML configuration files; we’ll see how easily XForms manipulates the XML-tagged data.
